DAVID CUGNASCA
workshops: Marian Roth, Pinhole Photography, 2000,2001,2002

My pinhole photo, Pine Barren #2 was selected in a juried show by Jock Reynolds. The show will take place at the Essex Art Center, Lawrence, MA. Oct.24th to Dec. 12th 2003. Jock is the Curator and Director of the Henry J. Heinz II, Yale University Art Gallery (YUAG). He went to the Yale position in 1998 after being the Director of the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover, Mass. As director of the Yale Art Gallery, Reynolds oversees the oldest university art museum in North America. The gallery's holdings span all periods from ancient to contemporary, and come from every region of the globe.

Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Agni, Folio, Iris, Luna, The New Yorker, Pilgrimage, Phoebe, Rhino, Witness, and other journals.

BRIAN LARKIN

Have been at Galleria Raffaello in Provincetown for the past three seasons. The gallery will undoubtedly close at the end of this year so I'll be in the market for new venues.

Will be showing at Provincetown Art Association for winter and spring juried/memeber shows and several at Providence Art Club in in Rhode Island.

I have recently published a story in The Philadelphia Inquirer, and have published my work in Soundings East and Bridges. Most recently my work has been accepted by The Dudley Review.



ELAINE SCHEAR

My poem "The Wake-up Call" about the then-impending war in Iraq, was chosen for the annual "best of 2003" poetry issue of the Spare Change News in April 2004. The New Orleans literary journal Rive Gauche will publish "Standing by" in their fall 2004 premiere issue.

Over the year I've read at The Oakland Avenue Writers (Arlington, MA) afternoon poetry reading, The Center for New Words (Cambridge, MA) and the Brookline Booksmith (Brookline, MA).

Elaine works with children in the Cambridge Public Schools to create, perform and display their own poetry.
