This has been an exciting year for FAWC. The progress of FAWC's capital campaign, Building for the Future, continues with the added incentive of a major Challenge Grant from a generous supporter. After two years of "quiet" fundraising, FAWC publicly announced its capital campaign in August 2006. The Challenge Grant was promptly awarded as a catalyst to raise the final $600,000 of FAWC's $2 million capital fundraising effort. The capital campaign supports the renovations that are transforming FAWC's facilities and helps build FAWC's endowment. If the $600,000 is raised by December 31, 2007, the anonymous donor will add $250,000 to FAWC's endowment. This is a wonderful opportunity to leverage the impact of any gift you designate for the Building for the Future campaign from now until December 2007.
