ACCOMMODATIONS

The Fine Arts Work Center has a very limited number of apartments that book very quickly. Residential students must bring their own sheets (full), towels and toiletries. Apartments do not have telephones or air-conditioning. Accommodations cost $675 for six nights ($150 deposit or payment in full required to reserve housing), and may be available through the weekend if you are taking courses in two consecutive weeks. Check-in is on Sunday, between 4-6pm; check-out is the following Saturday by 12N. We cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures. There is a strict No Pets/No Smoking policy at the Work Center. Residents are expected to leave their apartments clean; a nonrefundable cleaning fee will be charged for apartments that require extra cleaning. Be sure to review cancellation/refund policy.

If you prefer to live off-site, Provincetown has many excellent guest houses, B & B's, inns and hotels, with a variety of price ranges. Aim to book as early as possible to secure reasonable rates; some weeks fill quickly. Provincetown is a walking town and there are many accommodations within a few minutes walk. Local campsites are Coastal Acres (508-487-1700; www.coastalacres.com) and Dunes' Edge (508-487-9815; www.dunes-edge.com). The Chamber of Commerce also has a list of reliable babysitters.
