ACCOMMODATIONS

There are a limited number of apartments available at the Fine Arts Work Center for weeklong residencies. Rent is $625 per week (includes 6 nights). We expect you to leave the apartment as clean as you found it. A fee of $100 will be charged if extra cleaning is required after you check out. Check-in is on Sunday, between 4-6 pm, and check-out the following Saturday by noon. We cannot accommodate early arrivals. Each apartment has a private bathroom, double bed, window fan and kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, cookware, plates, glasses and silverware. Rooms do not include linens, towels, or toiletries. Like most older Cape Cod buildings, the apartments are rustic but comfortable and have been home to many distinguished artists and writers.

If you prefer to live off-site, Provincetown has many excellent guest houses, B & B's, inns and hotels, with a variety of price ranges. Aim to book as early as possible to secure reasonable rates; some weeks fill quickly. Provincetown is a walking town and there are many accommodations within a few minutes walk. We can make suggestions, or you can contact www.provincetown.com,the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce (508-487-3424; www.ptownchamber.com) or the Provincetown Business Guild (508-487-2313; www.ptown.org). Local campsites are Coastal Acres (508-487-1700; www.coastalacres.com) and Dunes' Edge (508-487-9815; www.dunes-edge.com). The Chamber of Commerce also has a list of reliable babysitters.

The Fine Arts Work Center has limited housing space that books very quickly. Please give us a call if you need assistance finding a place to stay. We do have an updated accommodations list that includes private listings - we would be happy to send you one.
